I’m not surprized, thanks for posting.
I had heard some of the warnings about diet soda and ignored when I was working out in the field one day, it was nearing 100 degrees and I took a drink of a diet soda. At first it quenched my thirst but it was only a matter of minutes that I was getting sick from it, eventually I had to call it a day because of the severe abdominal pain. This never happened to me other times when it was just as hot and I was drinking regular soda or better yet water.
